210. Fused Deposition Modeling
Fused deposition modeling method is one of rapid prototyping technology. Fused Deposition Modeling is a hot melt filamentous material heating and melting,through with a fine spray nozzle to nozzle squeeze. Nozzle can move along the X axis, while the table is moved along the Y axis. If the temperature of hot melt material has slightly higher than the curing temperature, and forming part of the temperature is slightly lower than the curing temperature, we can guarantee spray nozzle hot melt extrusion materials soon after the previous level fused together. After deposition of one level, drop table a predetermined increments of thickness, melt-blown deposits continue until the completion of the solid modeling.
FDM technology for hot-melt material is generally ABS, wax, polyethylene, polypropylene and so on. For the workpiece cavity and the cantilever structure, you must use two materials, one is above the molding material, and the other part is devoted to the support of deposition of the cavity material, the support material after the completion of the line in the shape removed. Support material commonly used water can soften or dissolve the material, removing only water immersion cleaning when you can.
