87.CNC rapid prototyping technology
Now the new rapid prototyping - CNC has many functions and applications.They bring us very big change, so we should know them. If you want to know the applications and funtions, you can read about below:
- Direct metal laser sintering. As you might have already understood, this method is mostly used for creation of rapid prototyping models of metal, shaping it as needed.
- Injection molding. The essence of this method lies in layered casting of prototyping models, which is fulfilled by small tanks filled with a prototyping material, be that liquid metal or any other material.
- RTV (room temperature vulcanization) tooling. This method allows you to obtain accurate duplicate part or a prototype quickly and inexpensively.
- SLS, which is an abbreviation for selective laser sintering. It is an additive manufacturing technique that uses a high power laser to fuse small particles of plastic, metal (Direct Metal Laser Sintering that has been already mentioned above), ceramic, or glass powders into a mass representing a desired 3-dimensional object.
- Stereolythography, which is an additive manufacturing technology, used for production of models, prototypes, patterns and production parts. CNC method will help to fulfill any rapid prototyping model.
Thus it can be seen, CNC is very important in opur life. So we should use it better.
