249. Direct rapid metal tooling process method and characteristics

Method of three processes:
1. Soft-mode technology: You can use a variety of occasions, for small batch production.
2. Quasi-direct rapid tooling technology: for medium quantities of plastic parts and wax production.
3. True Direct rapid tooling technology: includes two process methods: High-power laser sintering of metal powder mixture of metal powder forming method ;laser sintering method.

Features:
1. Forming equipment is expensive, bulky, high running costs, difficult to manage, promote and maintain the inconvenience
2. Difficult process
3. Molding process difficult to control in the processing of the surface. In high power laser sintering process, molten metal will flow occurs, resulting in poor surface quality of molded parts, precision is low, the laser power low and make the weld metal powder material is poor, so that the performance of molded parts reach the requirements.
4. Sinter forming process is relatively simple, the use of rapid prototyping equipment in general can be completed with a simple molding equipment, molding process easy to control advantages.
