232. Several common comparison of rapid prototyping technology 2

SLA selective curing photosensitive resin is used three-dimensional sculpture (Stereolithography) the principle of a process, referred to as the SLA, is the first emergence of a rapid prototyping technology.

In the resin tank filled with liquid photosensitive resin, it is in the ultraviolet irradiation of the laser beam will be fast curing. Molding process begins, it can lift the table in the next section of thick liquid height, the focused laser beam, under the control of the computer, in accordance with the requirements of section profile along the surface scan, the scanned area resin curing, resulting in cross-section profile of the resin sheet. Then, the table height down a layer of thin slices in order to cure the resin sheet to a new layer of liquid resin to be covered in order to cure the second layer by laser scanning, the new layer of curing the first layer of adhesive on the prison, Repeat incessantly, until the product molding is completed. Rose out of the last lift of liquid resin surface, remove the parts, cleaning, place for support, the second curing and surface finish treatment.

Photosensitive resin curing rapid prototyping technique for selective production of small and medium in the form of the workpiece, can be directly obtained engineering plastic resin or similar products. Conceptual model is mainly used for prototyping, or to do simple testing and assembly process planning.

SLA rapid prototyping technology advantages are:
1, the surface quality is better;
2, forming high precision and accuracy of 0.1mm (internal SLA between 0.1-0.3mm accuracy, and there is a big volatility);
3, the system with higher resolution.

SLA rapid prototyping technology Disadvantages:
1, requires a dedicated laboratory environment, forming pieces of post-processing needs, such as: secondary curing, moisture treatment processes.
2, the dimensional stability is poor, over time, the resin will absorb moisture from the air, causing the soft part of the warpage of thin, thus greatly affect the overall dimensional accuracy of molded parts;
3, He - Cd laser tube life of only 3,000 hours, more expensive, due to the need to scan the entire cross-section cure, forming a longer time, so production costs are relatively high.
4, the alternative type of material is limited, must be a photosensitive resin. Parts made from such resins in most cases can not test the durability and thermal properties, and the photosensitive resin on the environmental pollution, skin allergies.
5, the support structure need to design artifacts in order to ensure the production of the molding process can be a reliable part of a structure for each position, the support structure is not fully cured when the need to manually remove, easy to destroy pieces of molding.
