220. Product design approach - combination of design
Composite design (also known as modular design) is one of the methods of product design is a unified function of the product unit,designed with different purposes or different performance of optional interchangeable modular components, to better meet the needs of users of a design. Currently, the modular components have been widely used in product design and manufacture of the same type of products from development to manufacturing of different types of products. Modular design of the core is to design a series of modular components. To this end, from the functional unit, the study of several modular components should include the number of parts, components and parts, and in combination for each modular component design time how much and so on.Today, in the face of increasing competition, market segmentation case of fierce competition, the enterprise produces only one product is very difficult to survive.
