160. Basic information about rapid prototyping

Rapid prototyping is the common name of a number of new automated technologies, which came in the last decade to replace or assist in hand-made models, models or prototypes.

Rapid prototyping involves several steps, the first of which is the mathematical modeling. This technology is to develop a mathematical model of a product in a format STL.
