20. Which rapid prototyping materials have high heat tolerance?
Most rapid prototyping plastics with higher heat tolerance are from the SLS and CNC technologies. SLS plastics have a melting point of 184 C (365 F) or more, and Ultem, an amorphous polymer, has a Tg-Glass Transition temperature of 215 C (419 F). Other materials are available.
