158. What is RPM technology?
Rapid prototyping manufacturing technology was part of the way different from the traditional methods of material removal or material deformation, but under computer control, based on discrete / accumulation of different methods of stacking principle to complete the final part of the forming materials and manufacturing technology.
From the perspective of forming, parts can be viewed as point, line or surface of the superposition of that obtained from the CAD model, discrete point, plane geometry, and then combined with the forming process parameter information, control materials, regularly and accurately by the point to a plane, from ground surface to the accumulation of body parts. From the manufacturing point of view, it is part according to generation three-dimensional CAD model geometry information into the appropriate commands transmitted to the control system, laser beam or other means through the material layer formed by accumulation of a prototype or part, without the need to link mold design, very land to improve productivity and greatly reduce production costs, especially significantly shorten production cycle, known as a revolution in manufacturing.
