14. Do you need an invention prototype?
Most inventions should have at least some form of prototype for the following reasons:
1) An invention prototype will prove out the product design and concept to attract funding
2) An invention prototype will make it easier for a prospective company to understand your invention and protect your
invention for applying a patent.
3) Cost effective. The development of a virtual, physical or working prototype will help with development the design of the
invention before production tooling, thus minimizing re-work and saving money later in the process.
